Hi, I already sketched a project in sketchUp for a teacher. Now, I want to model the same in Revit, with a better architectural look. Is there anybody that could help me? I have difficulty to edit the profile of the curved wall. Here is two pictures, one of my sketchup model, and the other of how my revit model is advanced. I do not want to transfer my sketchup file in Revit, because it is not really good structured. I drew a curved wall, but I'm not able to edit the top and bottom edge as shown in sketchup file. Please if you have solutions, explain it in detail, because I'm not an english speaker and I'm not so familiar with the Revit application

I would use a void to cut the wall where you reqiure. Go to Modelling<Create<give it a name<Void extrusion<draw your void<pull it to cut the wall<Cut geometry<pick wall> Hope that helped.

I tried to do what puzzle said and I am having problems with this still. Here is the error I am getting. This Mass has no solid geometry for its Void Forms to cut. They must be deleted, or solid geometry added and cut. Is this because the wall is not a mass or solid geometry, it is a wall??? What to do? thanks

You need to make the void an inplace wall family, then before finishing the family use the cut geometry tool and select the wall and the void.

It is such a weird question, but I can't figure out how to set my work plan correctly. I'm able to set the triangular profile but it is parallel to the ground plan. I would like it to be perpendicular.

Create reference planes on which to base your sketch. Draw the ref planes in a plan view - you must give them a name for them to be selectable in the dropdown list. Go into an elevation view and begin to Create your void and follow the same instructions as you were previously given. I think this is getting at what you asked. HTH
