I am trying to print a section of my building and I have built a screened porch with columns and louvers for the framing. If you look at the attached images the first one shows the view in elevation. The second one shows the print of that. The lines are coming through the louvers and now printing correctly. I don't want that screen to show through. It is also not printing in greyscale when I'm telling it too. Any ideas?

Check and see if you made the screen object "transparent" by using the over-ride.

I did. Why does that affect it? The screen is behind the louvors I made for it. They are all part of the same massing but the louvors are 1.5" thick and the screen is 1/8" thick and it's centered on the louvors. So it shouldn't be showing through should it?

If you did over-ride the object to transparent then you will see through it. Turn off the override and it should look the way you want. Those overrides will print. The "sunglasses" or temporary overrides will not print.

Yes the the louvors that I explained are not transparent so they should be 'blocking' the screen material behind them. So if the screen is the only material that is 'transparent' then why does it show through or act as if it's the closest thing in the print?

Sorry, Thought you said it was transparent... Could you post it. if you want to see if it is a graphic override create another elevation and see if it looks the same. If it does then we can rule out graphic overrides.

Hello, Ok I think I know what graphic override is. But I can't remember, remind me again? Sorry brain fart. Also the file is attached. The problem again if you just view the interior elevation 1-d I believe it is. You'll see the screen looks appropriate. But then if you got to print preview it shows up wrong. Any thoughts? Thanks for the helpl. Lorne
