Not near enough info here! I assume this is an elevation but not sure. If that's the case then the vertical lines must represent the face of the roof and a roof doesn't split into two components so you have two seperate roofs. Delete one and see if the both disappear.

Yes that picture was of an elevation, the dark lines on the right are a wall. The horizontal lines are the edges of the roof, and it's sloped towards you, so you see the vertical metal seams on the roof. I can't just delete the roof and redraw it because so many things are attached to the roof it would screw everything up.

The suggest was to delete one side or the other of what we see in this elevation and see what happens. You can always UNDO the deletion. There has to be two roofs here or you have a jog in your roof plan .... which you haven't shared.

there's a jog in the roof. the red is the edge of the roof. the blue is where that weird problem is, and the green is where that section was taken.

I would check the edges that define the slope. I would guess that when you made the roof you on some edges you pick the wall as the defining point and others you just added a line. If you remove the line on both sides and redraw them in a consistent manor it should work.

This thread is more than 4 years old now, but I just wanted to point out that every thread I read, WWHub is always a jackass in his responses.

Thank you rfisher. I value your very first post ever in the 3 years since you joined.
Glad you appreciate everything you downloaded. It would be nice if you contributed something to the site - like trying to answer a question or uploading a family.
