I've been using Revit for about a month and a half, and am working on some electrical plans. The firm I work for uses a large amount of keyed notes in their AutoCAD plans, however I have been having tons of issues with Keyed Notes in Revit. I have already learned how to put a hexagonal border around the keynote text to match the style we normally use. However revit requires keyed notes, and all notes for that matter to hosted by a specific object. This would be fine except it also propagates, all data on one object to all other objects of the same type. Thus I can't put two different keyed notes on seperate circuits because revit says, all circuits are keyed not "A" after I label the first circuit that way.  Does anyone know how to create  Keyed Note, that can be placed, Unhosted, or potential hostable on a Plane/Face, and does not propagate data?

Any help would be geatly appreciated, this has been something that we have fought with for several weeks now.

Thanks, Alex

Found the problem, Keyed Notes need to placed at User Key Notes instead of Element if you want to change them individually. Just wanted to post that if anyone else was wondering the same thing.
