If I draw say an 8" stone masonry wall on my bottom floor then I want to create a wall above it as a 6" stud wall when I already have them both drawn and I go back to move my 6" wall the one below it moves with it as if they're attached. How to I move it without the other one messing my model up?

I don't know if you are still in search for an answer, but I've found that whatever wall you do not want to move, select it and "pin" it down, if anything temporarily, but if you know it's not going to move then you can just keep it there so you know it's not going to accidentally get out of place. Hope this helps, if not you, then someone else who is trying to solve this problem as well!

That is funny...I appreciate the response. Better late than never I guess. I can't even remember what this was for. Since then I've learned a lot about Revit. Mostly thanks to everyone on these forums! So thanks all!

Ha ha, yeah, I realize it was asked a long time ago, I was looking to solve this problem myself last night and came across this post, which was the very issue I was trying to solve; I figured if I saw it through a search then other people with this problem could as well, so responding to it might help someone else resolve their issue and keep from having multiple posts for the same thing, some answered and some not.
