See the image attatched. I believe the current "parametric" way of using legend components for walls are silly for creating wall type sheets. The way i think it should be done is with a drafting editor within the wall properties editing dialog box. Here, by default, you can have the materials and thicknesses understood as automatic notation for creating the wall type detail (similar to keynoting, only you don't have to manually pick the item from the keynotes list if you don't want to) Also, note that the insulation should have the option as imbedded or "shared" with a layer of the wall assembly (i.e. Batt insulation within Studs) Then a wall type sheet could literally be considered a "graphic" based schedule. Wall types would automatically be itemized in an organized grid with automatic numbering showing the wall type detail (including all of the automated notation) AS THE LEGEND COMPONENT. I'd like to hear your comments.

I am a new user but you wall type editor looks great to me. Did you do something to the wall assembly editor? I am using the latest version but my editor does not look like that. I was particularly interested in how to get the insulation as a subcomponent to the stud layer and how you set up the annotations. Terry

This is a wish for the wishlist. I'm happy that you indirectly complimented my photoshop work! Even though i don't think it was all that good. A smaller wish is to get this posted on the AUGI wishlist before the voting, but I've been having problems doing so. Anyone know what the deal is?

I am new to the program and have adpoted to it with relative ease. The wall editor is the first major weakness that I have encountered wituh the program. As a long time user of FormZ, one of the biggest frustrations in that application has been the restrictive size and tools within the preview window. The same seems to be true with the wall editor. The preview window for the wall should be much larger and needs to have more tools. I would like to see the ability of when you unlock a layer, that you can set it's height in the wall section. I would like to see a horizontal line that represents the under side of structure above and you can right-click on a layer and indicate to 'attach' It would also be good be able to create sweeps and reveal profiles in the wall editor as well as graphically adjust their location.
