In a section I can create a callout.  Then within the callout I change the properties so that its far clip is independent of the parent view, but leave the value the same as the parent view.  When I go back to the section that the callout was initialy placed in, it shows up the same as when I created it originally (to be expected).  Then, I go back to the callout and change the far clip offset to a value smaller than the parent view.  After this when I go back to the original section (the parent view) the callout has disappeared.  Why is this happening?  I can go back to the original section and put another callout in the place of the original callout and reference the original callout, and it will show up as a "SIM" detail.  I do not want to do this because I would like to place a referenced view in other spots where the detail truly is similar, and not identical.  I have tried to toggle the visibility of the reference label (SIM) on and off as an instance parameter within the callout tag family, but it does not work when imported into a project.  Any suggestions as to why the callout is disapearing in the first place?  Or any ideas on how to togle the reference lable (SIM) on and off?  Thanks.
