Need some help...I am trying to show hidden lines below a second floor. I have a building which the second floor cantiliver out the first floor. I want to show the perimeter walls of the first floor, see attached picture. If I choose to underlay the first floor all the walls show in gray lines and I don't want that. Any suggestions on how to accomplish this?

Keeping the underlay on, use the linework tool to change them to Hidden Lines. Then turn off the underlay - the linework will remain.

I have the underlay on, when you say "use the linework tool to change them to Hidden Lines" I used under the Basics tab --- lines---I drew the line around my perimeter walls below but the lines do not appear, it seems the lines are under an object pehaps the floor. How do I bring them above?

No, don't draw lines. Use the linework tool (I've highlighted it in the attached image). After selecting the linework tool, select Hidden Lines in the type selector, and then click on the walls in the underlay. Even though it has nothing to do with this situation, you also might want to check out the Help file on the difference between Model Lines (Lines under the Basic Tab) and Detail Lines.
