It has been a year since I conviced this firm to purchase Revit and still they do not want to implement.  I am trying to get someone here exceited about using it again.

Is there any videos out there that show what other firms are doing, especiall western US firms, with Revit and why?

I am also looking for introductory videos that show what Revit can do but not be a training video?  Alsmost like a web seminar.

I am hoping I can find some that I can download then play when needed.

I have checked CADclips but they are to training oriented.

thanks,

Hi there, I remember when I was given the Trial version of Revit 7.0 CD, they are few video clips in the CDs such as Oculus Architect, Antunivich Associates, AIA on  BIM and Oculus Inc. They are good eye opener on introducing and promoting Revit. I actually learnt from there on how to implement Revit. Try and get one of the free Trial CD. They are video clips in there.

Thanks....I think I have that one from Oculus too.

On the Autodesk Website I could not find any videos to watch or download.  Does anyone know where those can be found.  I remember watching a web seminar and it just went through making a building and just pointing out the features but not training.  Is there anything like this out there?

Thanks

You might check Avatech's webpage.  Even if you don't have an Avatech office nearby, they have a number of recorded webcasts that would be good introductions to the software.

Hi, I m downloading only Revit ARCHITECTURE 2008 Videos from DGCAd.com & want to learn Interior Modeling.  I want to know, Is there any differnce between RAC 2008, Revit Building, BIM & Revit Structure? are they individual software from each other? or are they part of Revit Architecture 2008?. If I download - R-Building, R-Structure, R-BIM Videos tutorials, do they help me in learning Revit Architecture in Architectural way. Thanks

Yes there is a difference.  Revit Building is the older version of Revit Architecture.  However, as it pertains to training videos, some for the Revit Building might still apply. Revit Architecture 2008 is the most recent version.

revit structure is a totally different program.  It is based on Revit Archtiecture but utilizes structual definitions and calculations for the model.  It is meant for strucutural engineers or structurally oriented architects.
