I've done a pretty thorough search of this forum and haven't been able to find exactly what I'm looking for. So, here's the challenge... I've created guardrails using the curtain wall tool and the guardrails consist of "System Panel: Glass". In axo/perspective views the glass has the necessary tranparency; however, in orthographic views (ie. elevations and sections) the glass is opaque. I've tinkered with the visibility settings in the elevation/section views but that only allows me to make them 100% transparent, with only an outline, or to halftone a solid fill pattern. I need to see the detail in the spaces beyond the glass guardrails. This same issue applies to what is beyond the curtain wall on the building itself and to any planting/trees I place in front of the elevation. In my search of the forum thus far I haven't found any encouraging comments. Thanks in advance for your assistance. r.

You should be able to create a curtain panel where you put the glass on a subcategory so you can turn it off and leave model or symbol lines on. I'm not sure from you post exactly what you are trying to achieve.
