I have a street level plan, composed of various slabs at different heights. During the last month I have been working with the spot elevations command quite unreliably. I simply cant figure them out. Sometimes I can place them (they appear) perfectly on the center of a slab, others they will only appear on the edges of the slab (I understand this happens on a tilted slab, but on a flat one???), and in some other cases they will not appear at all. I tried applying them in different views, levels, but the only clear thing is that there is no consistency on how they work. I even tried copying them and pasting them and it almost lets u do it but then it says that you have to Edit the Paste, and then it falls from there. Can someone clue me in on how spots elevations are conceived in REVIT, to see if I can work them properly finally? Thank you Luis

I've seen the same behavior. I wish I could help. It seems like if I close a view and reopen it, I can place them again. It doesn't seem logical. I'll let you know if I figure it out.
