I put a reveal in a concrete wall for a brick ledge.  I made a profile family and set some family types, parameters for the dimensions of the rectangle profile.  I made my shared parameters for the length and width of the profile, but when I go into the Family types within the Family editor, and try to add a parameter, the shared parameters is grayed out? I can go into my project and see my parameters in my schedule, but I just don't know how to set them to the profile family in the family editor.  What I'm trying to get to is to be able to schedule the dimensions of my brickledge.???

I'm looking for the same thing!

Is this a wishlist item? Is it already on the wishlist?

Is this an API thing? 

anyone have an idea at all!
