I'm doing my first revit project and have a couple of structural beam related questions. All beams and columns are RC and all of my walls are non-bearing. Please view the attached screenshot. Here goes: 1. I'm trying to join two beams at a square but they simply won't (Item "a" I know it's possible because somehow it does exactly what i want on another set of beams (Item "b". They're the same type of beams except different dimensions. any thing i'm missing? 2. I'm trying to do a planted column, but the cantieved beam won't extend to the core face of the planted column Item "c". Aligning won't do th job. 3. A beam joins on one end (Item "d" but won't on another end (Item "e". As you can tell with the linework, i'm using phase filters because the project is a 2 storey residential house renovation. Does this setting affect the beams? Any help would be very appreciated.
