I am trying to get a roof plan that shows the support walls. To acomplish this I was able to use wire mesh view and filter out all but the external support walls. My problem is that instead of just getting clean roof lines I get 3 lines at each roof intersection. These extra lines disappear if I use hidden line view but then I loose the support wall see through. Is there any way to get a clean roof plan and see the support walls through the roof???? Help appreciated. BarryS

Hi, why don't you use a ceiling view? you will see the wall support properly cutted by the view and you'll able to edit the roof. If you're interested in a top side view of the roof you can always put under the roof view the last level plan view:it will appear grey out but you can redraw very quickly the line of the walls you need. Take a look at the view properties and change None to "the last level". Hope this help you a little bit. -paolo
