I am trying to manipulate the keynotes where there is a group of keynotes for Demolition plan sheets and a group of keynotes for Floor plan sheets. I want to be able to use numbers 1-20 for both groups of keynotes. Within each group I want #1 to be the same keynote for all sheets in that group. Is this possible in Revit 2008? I suppose the next best option would be sheet specific keynotes. I am only using 'user' keynotes, not element or material.

I don't think it is possible to do what you want to do. Best solution would be to set up a seperate project for demolition that links the main file and has it's own key notes.

Not sure if this is what your looking for but. I have one text file for all my keynotes which are user defined. Keynotes for demo plan, new plan, RCP demo, & RCP new. Each group uses 1- ..., ex: demo plan is DP1, DP2 etc - new plan is NP1, NP2 etc. I have a different keynote tag for demo and new. Then when I put the keynote legend on my sheet and it only shows the keynotes which are been used on that sheet. I just learned all this today! Awesome Revit 2008

This is a new project, no demo. So I have notes 1-47 on one sheet and on another sheet 1-87 that are different notes. Any ideas?

My answer in 2007 was good for the question asked. But if you are willing to use something like D1,D2,D3 for demolition and A1,A2,A3.. for say architectural, then do that and filter you keynote shedule accordingly.

Thanks for the reply. Tell me if this is what you are saying. Create or duplicate keynote legends for each sheet and then filter out what I dont want for each sheet. I need key 1-40 on each sheet and those items will be different on each sheet. Dont see how that is possibe.
