I can generate volume if I use a structural family template, but I can't use this volume for calculating weight for example. I can only define the volume by myself, with length, width and height, and thén use this parameter for calculating. I use a lot of round profiles and objects and that's too difficult to define the total volume. So I want to use the automatically generated volume from the structural family template.. Is this possible? I can use the volume if I could set off single objects. But that's my second question. I can make single objects within a family invisible. But when I have a family I want to set a single object off. When I make the single object invisible he still calculates the volume. I want to use a parameter (yes/no) to set a single object off so he doesn't calculate the volume.
