I need to add names to the rooms of a building I am drawing although when I add room tags I cannot add one that doesnt include a room number, which I dont want. I would rather not add the names simply in text on a sheet, and cant seem to find any alternate tags that just offer a 'name'. Any help or tips would be much appreciated.

I've made a couple "Room Name only" tags by following this sequence:
1) Open one of the existing room tags (annotation family). (Don't load it into your project, just open it as a stand-alone file.)
2) You should see the annotation items for the family - likely a "Room Number" text label and a "Room Name" text label.
3) Do a "Save As" to a new family name, such as "Room Name Only tag.rfa"
4) Now simply delete the Room Number text label, leaving only the Room Name label.
4a) You can change the properties of the label to a different text font or size as you wish at this point as well.
5) Save and close this newly-made annotation family.
6) Go into your project file and use the File...Load from Library...Load Family command to locate and load this new annotation family into your project.
Hopefully that's what you're looking for.
