This seems like a dumb question to me but I need to ask it. In order to add radiosity to an image, I need to run radiosity, and then as soon as its done, just hit raytrace and it will factor the radiosity soluton in automatically? I ask this because I'm running radiosity as stated above, but the result doesn't look any different than if i just run raytrace. Also, I see lighting casting on certain surfaces during the radiosity calculation, yet during the raytrace there is no light on the same surface. Its an exterior night scene and I run a lot of steps for radiosity, at least as many as I have lights. Thanks for any input, as always!

Radiosity is only for small interior renderings and is not meant for exterior rendering. that's probably why you don't see any difference in your rendering. i can't remember all the particulars, but if i can locate a PDF on the subject i had, i will post it. HTH
