RA 2008 My rooms are enclosed and the computed area shows up in their properties but when I try to place a room tag with area the area shows as a "?". I have checked previous threads and found no answers. Any ideas? Thanks.

Find the annotation family of that Tag and post it.

It's the basic room tag that comes with RA. I've used it on other projects with no problem. I'm wondering if its getting confused with a linked file that has rooms existing in the same space. I don't get errors/warnings though of 2 rooms in the same place. Thanks!

I'm still not sure what the deal is with that specific tag but I made a new one and its working fine. Is there a way to make the box around the room numbers a little bit smaller? My plan is getting crazy and leaders are not helping me that much anymore....

Just open the family and adjust the lines to the size you want them.
