Ok so I'm new to using revit so be kind here. Using RS2008. Have an Isolated footing under a post. Created a schedule with with the following fields: Type Mark, Foundation Thickness, Width, Length & I created an addition parameter field call Reinforcing. Everything schedules out properly except I get no reading for the "Foundation Thickness" column. all other column fill out perfictly. Under the Properties for that Iso FTG, Parameters: Dimensions, list Width, Length, & Thickness. The schedule is reading the Width & Length but not the Thickness. Did a Cont. wall Ftg. sched. had no problems. Can someone answer why the "Thickness" is not displaying under the THICKNESS column in my schedule? Thanks, Dave

I'm not positve but I'm gonna give this a shot. I believe we had the same issue and found that if you change the schedule parameter to read the height instead of thickness, it should work. Like I said, I'm not sure. You can still have the word "thickness" as a column title in the schedule but just change the parameter. Let me know how that goes for you! JB

Thanks JB, I looked and "Height" is not an availible field for Structural Foundations. They did have "Height Offset From Level" though...figured I try it but didn't work. I know I can create a Field for a new parameter and have it read that but I shouldn't have to....there's got to be a way for it to read the "Thickness" field under the Dimensions parameter in the properties of an Isolated footing. The family is "Footing-Rectangular" but I'm sure this was obviouse. Any other suggestions?
