I created a generic model of a walk in freezer for a grocery store that I am designing, but it is not showing properly when I import it into my model.  I have the top offset of my floor plan view range at 7'-6", the cut plane at 4'-0", and the bottom at 0'-0".  The roof of the freezer is at 10'-0" so the freezer should be displayed cut, but it is showing the roof.  Everything appears correct in the 3D views.

I have tried to use a plan region and changed the view range properties, but nothing seems to work.

Any help?

I am using Revit Building 9.1

Ok, the reason for this is that is that familes dont really have a different view for being cut.  You can put in a cut pattern and all, but really it will show up the same.  If you have a box and you look at the top you see just a solid 4 sides, you would think that cutting through the box you would see the 4 walls, but this isnt so with familes.  What you sould do here is create that as a group, that or create it as a seperate file and then link it into your file where you want to place them.  Familes are more intened for things like a table, I can see how you wanted this to be a family, but with all the things you ahve in it, I think its a bit much.  Groups may give you some issues, but if you stick with how you have your family built you should be fine.
