I am trying to create new columns in a door schedule that would be parametric to the door type. Do I do this using a formula? Does anybody have any ideas that will help? Thanks

One way I know of is to create Shared Parameters in your Door Family. Then load the shared parameters into the project. These fields will become available to add to the schedule. Shared parameters can be type or instance. I don't know of any other way, but there might be a better way.
