In our titleblock there is a stamp that has 4 variations based on the drawing type and stage, I.E. preliminary, ready to be signed etc. I currently have the stamps imported as CAD items with the different stamps being on different layers so they can be turned on or off in the imported family tab of the View Settings. Being that I would like to have a Revit only titleblock, is there a better way to have these stamps come in with our title block and turn them on or off to get the correct stamp or no stamp at all as needed without bringing them in as separate families and dragging them in on the drawing sheet or turning import family layers on and off? Thank you

Of course! Create your stamp as a generic annotation symbol. Setup a parameter for the text value and also a parameter for visibility. Then load it into your titleblock and link through the parameters into the titleblock family so they can be controlled in a project. Let me know if you need more guidance. HTH.

I'm trying to do a similar thing with drawing issuances. I would like to have certain text to be able to turned on for some sheets and off for others. How would I go about doing this? Would i need to make a generic annotaion family with just text?

Here's what I did to create drawing issuances and other title block information: Create a shared project parameter: Settings - Project Parameters - add - shared parameter - select - edit - if you dont already have a shared parameter file, create one and save it in a network location - New parameter - name the parameter and select the type: text for issuance or yes/no for an image. Then select ok until you get back to the parameter properties box. select the catigory: drawing sheet to be able to edit the text on each drawing sheet or project information for the text to update on all sheets - select a group parameter and select ok. Go to the title block family. create a label, edit the label. under the edit label box select add parameter - click select - select the parameter you just made, then move that parameter into the label. Repeat for each issuance or electronic stamp or consultant's info.
