I'm having a problem with my border tags. Two different issues actually.
1. I created three seperate tags in succession. One for Project Name, one for Project Address and the last for Owner Address. After I loaded this border into a project I tried to modify these tags. For some reason I couldn't modify the Project Address tag. It was showing as if it was plain, non-modifiable, text. How did this occur if it's the 2nd tag out of three? I can modify the other two with no problems. So what's the missing link here?
2. Is there something else besides purge that I can use to purge out information that is outdated or incorrect? When I first loaded and modified the Project Name tag on my border, that information now loads up into the drawing every single time I load the border. This also occurs when I create a brand new border. Brand new in the sence that I just finished drawing every aspect of it. Text and everything. So, why is the Project Name filling out automatically and what can I do to resolve this?
Thanks in advance for your help.
(btw: the border was created by making a new titleblock family)

Okay, so i guess your talking about Titleblocks (border tags?)
1. You may have created it incorrectly as a shared parameter and its not loading automatically, or you have actually put it in as text. If you upload the titleblock family i'll check it out...
2. In one project isn't the name of the project always the same and as such only needs to be edited once...? If this isn't the case then you'll need to change the project name parameter from type based to instance based.
HTH.

Correct, I am talking about Titleblocks.
1. I'm not sure if I made myself clear enough by how you replied. What happened was I created three tags. One right after the other. First tag was labeled Project Name and works as intended. Second was Project Address which is NOT working as intended. Third was Owner Address which is working as intended. The same process was used to make all three tags. Just so you have some time table to go along with this, all three tags where made in roughly 2mins. One right after the other. I'll look into uploading the family so you can check it out.
2. Yeah, of course. Once the title is set for the project i'm not worried about changing it. I was wondering about it because I wasn't sure if the memory of the project name may in some way effect the problems I'm having in number 1. If this isn't the case then I'm not worried about it. I just like to cover all the bases. You do bring up another question though.
Type based to instance based? =)
Again, I thank you for your time.

Okay,
1. Yes you created it properly, to change go do settings, Project information and select edit next to address, then enter you address here and it will update.
2. There are no probs with it and works as expected.
