Hello - I am trying to do a spiral staircase with a "0" center radius - not a curved stair, but a genuine spiral staircase.  Also, I am sure the answer is in REVIT somewhere, but how do you add decks to a residential project? - Splynter

Hey again,

According to the "help" section, I make decks under "slabs".  I do not have that option, and I am running 08.

A deck would be a floor with a wood material over beams and joists. so you would make a floor that is the thickness of your decking with the appropriate material / surf pattern and cut pattern. Then use the framing tools for the framing.

I'm not sure you can make a 0 diam inside. will it have a pole in the middle?

As for the stairs, yes, it would have a pole about 6" in diameter....as for the deck, don't I need walls to confine the sketch of a floor?

I don't believe you need walls in order to make a floor. Just use "lines" to define the perimeter of the deck.
