Is there anyone out there that knows how to change the color of the trees, I am doing a monocromatic rendering and want to render natively. I have checked the edit menue and can edit the brances ect... but can't find out how to chage the color of the elements of the tree. Does anyone know how? -Amy

Pick any tree from your site menu, - right click on properties
- choose edit
- choose duplicate
- give it a new name
- near the bottom of this GUI is all the data on this element - select the accurender plant name to get to the AccuRender choices - there is a load of varieties / seasons
- choose your plant height
- play with this until you understand it.
Remember - there is a 2d representation of this element and then a 3d accurender that does not have to look the same ... and usually doesn't unless you change it.

I have played around with the types and properties of the tree, my question is can you change the color of the tree from the neon green to another color, I want a deep red the foliage. The plant season modifier only seems to change the density of the foliage not the color... amy

Dig deeper. In the plant materials editer you will find more ways to modify your plants than you could imagine. The Plant editor for accurender is the most complex part of Revit. Open the plants elemant properties. Edit/New, and Duplicate as WWHub suggested. Then you have to click on the Plant Name, in the Others section. This brings up the Plant Library. Here you can choose from dozens of predesigned plants and trees, that Revit doesn't have Families for. So, either find the tree you want in the plant library, or find one close and edit it. When you are in the Plant Library you will see a preview picture just like the material library has. Right-click on the preview and select Edit. Now you are in the Plant Editor. Find the leaves that you want, right-click and Edit. Now you are in the Edit Foliage box. This gets really deep, and I'm not going to go through every step. Just get in there and dig around. Hope this helps
