In revit architecture Does anyone know how to align the concrete footing family to the stud wall (framing) instead of the finish of the wall? Thanks

I have found, for footings it is easiest if you change the Location Line to Core Centerline. You can make this change on the first line of the walls element properties. Usually I will draw the foundation walls and line them up with the stud walls above. Then I will Copy to Clipboard, all of my Foundation walls. Change your view to the Footing Level, and Paisted Aligned Current View. Now change your Foundation walls into Footings through the type selecter. Depending on the Location Line you have used for your foundation walls, you may need to change the Location Line for your footings before changing their wall type. If this proves to be a problem still, you might need to cut section views. Open the section views and line-up your walls with the align tool. Hope one of these approaches works for you.
