Hi there, you mean to say Revit Structure 2 & RAC 2008 is not 100% compactible but still can be used? I am thinking of trying out exporting a RAC 2008 into Structure 2.  What about Revit 8.1? Will I get better result with 8.1? Thanks.

You can bring an older revit file into a newer Revit program, but not the other way around.

The newer Revit program will just update the older file for you when it is imported.

So, no you can not bring a RAC 2008 file into Revit 2.

Revit 2 will not know what an RAC 2008 file is.

If you use Building 8.1, then you would need to use at least Revit 4 to import that file.
