I am just starting out with Revit and I am having some difficulties doing the following.
How do you create a 2" recess in an exterior precast concrete wall.
I guess you could draw a reveal and then reshape it, but isn't there a quicker way?
Also how do you draw a vertical reveal.

Hey Revster,
You're right, there is an easier way. go to a 3d view where you can see your wall. Then go to the modeling tab on the left. Choose "host sweep --> wall reveal. Place your cursor over your wall and Voila! You can change the size and shape of this reveal by creating a profile family and loading it into your project. I will uploaded one here for you to download (check the Most Recent list)
