Does anyone know how to give one floor different sections of finishes?  For example, if you have a slab on grade that has three bedrooms on it, how could you give one bedroom carpet, one tile, and the other wood floors?  The only way I can think to do it is to draw different floor sections---is there a way to split the floor?

One of the most common workarounds for this issue is to create your whole floor as just the slab or other structure. Then add floors on top of the structure floor that are made up of only the finishes (ie carpet, wood, tile ..etc). When doing this you will have to set the offset from base on one or the other of the floor to get it to come out with the slab under the finish.

When doing this, how do you link the floor finishes with the room tags/schedules?

Also, someone mentioned being able to create base elements as sweeps which would also be part of the schedule; how is this done?
