anyone else have trouble with crashing when you edit and save a family while in a project in '08?

not sure if this is related to editing a family while it is loaded into the project (although i had done this the day it started crashing) but i began to see symptomes before the crashes along with warnings. I was receiving notifications of a fatal error with suggestion to save a new local file. these would typically occur when i would activate the section box view. The symptomes i noticed before the crashes began included roofs disappearing after editing their structure. don't know if this sheds any light... i sent the error report and i would advise anyone experiencing crashes to do the same.
