Does anyone know how to attach a tag to a specific point on an element, like the start or end of a beam? Or, does anyone know how the cantilever moment symbol knows which end to place itself on? Thanks!

I'm not on REVIT Structure but in the architectural versions, once you select the type of tag, you can select "free end" for the tag and move it to where ever you want.

You can do that in Revit Structure, but I was just hoping to discover a way to for Revit to automatically place a tag on one end (just like the cantilever symbols do) in order to be less tedious. But thank you; that is definitely an option.

There is a way to do it. You can make a group of the beam, or object that you want to have tags. Then you write the text/tag that you want. Press edit group on the grouped beam. Choose attach detail. Click on all the text that you want. Then finish the group. When you press the beam (that are grouped with it self) a button will apear called "attach detail". When you press that button, all the text that you wrote will be placed. My english is abit poor, so hope you understand what I tried to tell Smile
