I need to demolish some existing walls, windows and doors for one design option and different walls etc in another. Is it possible to toggle existing phase elements for different design options? This is also difficult, when part of existing roof, wall to be demolished and displayed differently in design options cheers

I'm not sure I'm grasping exactly what you are asking, but I'm goign to take a stab at it. You can toggle phase elements in Design Options, you can even change the phased elements within the design options. The trick, unfortunately, to demolishing and changin part of a roof or wall when dealing with phases is to actually create 2 roofs (for instance); one that is goign to be demolished and one that is not, and then getting those 2 roofs to look correct in the Existing Phase view. Same applies to walls. I do this a lot with Basement Renovations and have become used to having an existing phase view and a new construction/completed phase view open side by side and splitting and joining walls quite a bit before achieveing the effect I want. If I have completely missed what you are asking, please don't be afraid to ask again, maybe some screen shots would help also. Also, please let us know which version you are using. HTH!

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders. The most famous is never get involved in a land war in asia, but only slightly less well known is this! Never go in against a Sicilian when death is on the line! |

You have to think about exactly what you would do in real life during the demolition and construction while you are using Revit. During demolition, you would literally be splitting the wall and demoliting the section you don't need. Unfortunately, you can not split roofs so you have to create 2 seperate roofs. HTH, and welcome to Revit!
