I've created a moderately complex curved solid in Rhino and have taken it into Revit (2008 version) as a metric mass family. It allows me to create a wall by mass but it is orientated the wrong way i.e. external material faces inwards. How do I re-orientate the wall? Perhaps I'm doing somthing wrong when I select the massing face?

I am having the same problem when i apply a curtain wall to the face of a mass. It would be good to know if there is any hard and fast rule that determines which way the wall will orientate. I have tried re-doing the mass surfaces with mixed results. Sometimes the wall orientates correctly, sometimes not. The mass was created within revit and not imported.
