Subcategory translation to AutoCAD drawing file is not assigning the correct layer and line color when translated out using an rte (template) we created. Examples of the subcategories under S-Wall we created are: S-Wall-Conc, S-Wall-CMU, S-Wall-Steel, S-Wall-Wood; with varying colors representing NCS layers, line-weights, and linetypes in plan and projection views respectively. Going through the Revit help, custom layer mapping modifications are translating out to their major S-Wall setting without translating out to the defined subcategories. The new template is in view during translation as the selected translate to file template. What would a correct or better measure to use? This is why we should have a translate to NCS standards selection.
