About halfway through with my reflected ceiling plan (see attached image) and the project has slowed to barely crawling along.  The total project file is only 10,200 KB.  I have had Revit projects as large as 40,000 KB on this computer with no such problem.  I saved under a new name, I purged all unused items, etc. with no improvement.  There is one thing I am doing that is a little different.  I have broken up my corridor ceilings into separate ceilings at about 24' spacing to indicate ceiling control joints.  I created one and then copied it multiple times 24' apart to create the other ceilings.  To me this is like having eight or nine extra rooms with separate ceilings.  Why would that have me waiting for minutes for regens and even having to wait several seconds for the computer to catch up each time I move my mouse.

How do you get detail lines to show up on a reflected ceiling plan?  I guess I could swap out the 3D lights and diffusers for 2D and just draw lines for the control joints.

Thanks in advance for any help.
