Just wondering if there are any additional render engines/add-ons that are available for Revit? I have used other programs that allow you to choose to render your model as a water colour, pencil sketch, etc. Just thought there might be something out there that will do it for Revit. Thanks

There are no addon's or plugins for revit... There is however a revit plugin for Viz 2005 that allows you to import a revit 3d Dwg file export and retain all your material settings...

Thanks for that. Just another quick one. I hope I'm not speaking out of school here, but the program I had used was ArchiCAD. Do you know if we can open a Revit file in ArchiCAD??

I've used archiCAD before as well, and no you can't. No other program is capable of importing a revit model as an rvt file, only as dwg.

Where can you get this plugin, and can you retain materials from revit into 3ds Max??

Haven't tried it with max but it should work. The file is on the Revit 7.0 cd and is also for download at the autodesk website http://south-apac.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/index?siteID=1157326&id=3360945
