As discussed in my thread below about trying to get an automatically filled ceil hgt column in my room schedule.

I don't find any option to make the ceiling "room bounding" like you can walls. I find no help in the Revit Architecture 2008 "Users Guide" either.

In Revit Architectural 2011,
Click on Home Tab -> Room & Area expanded Panel (drop down list) -> Area and Computations.
In the Area and Volume Computations dialog box, highlight the Areas and Volumes checkbox.
If the Area and Volumes is highlighted, you will be able to see that the room height will follow the ceiling/roof surface in the section view (note: as long as the room height is higher that the ceiling/roof)
