Okay I'm using Revit 2008. With walls there is a way to define how they are placed based on Core face, centerline, etc. I am modifying a floor and I want to use the structure of that as the level rather than the top of the whole assembly that I am creating. Is there a wat to do this?

I've encountered the same issue - when trying to refine the floor structure placment the core boundary doesn't relate it to the level - the floor is always created below the level it was created on. Aside from using the 'offset' instance parameter (which I am wary of using because I want to maintain the ability to change the floor type without backchecking the offset), has anyone else encountered this problem and/or discovered a good work-around? Thanks.
