Can anyone please tell me why the microwave is not visible from Level 1 or Level 2 when I place it in my house plan? It will show up in 3D.

Adjust your level 1 view range, its set at 4' by default and likely the bottom of your nuke is somewhere above 4'. It probably shows up in your level 1 reflected ceiling view. It won't show in level 2 at all since level 2 shows only from level 2 to 4' above and nothing below by default.
