Hi all, EVERYONE SEES THIS ONE COMING NOT! WHISHED: a maxwell renderplugin for revit! this doesn't seem to be that difficult, cause the external [maxwell] renderer is automatically launched if you hit the render button in REVIT [like in 3ds max] , So you only have to apply maxwell materials to your revit model in revit which have the correct UV coordinates!, there is not even an viewport mode needed that shows the materials in REVIT [like in MAX, you see the mapping only simplified in the max vieport]. The external renderer does all that! Ow, yes the export from revit is in [the allready excisting] dwf or dwg format, so that data [with UV coordinates embedded] is allready excisting! [dwg linking for max and viz] So, people, start working on it! can't be that hard! Otherwise, there is only a material-library support needed so that through 3ds max you can activate maxwell. Now Revit links a model to max with REVIT materials, change this to a maxwell material library! then your max model allready has the correct materials and UV applied! [this still includes max as an intermediate], but what the heck, JUST MAKE IT WORK! ARCHITECTURE , BIM, STRUCTURAL AND NOT A GOOD RENDERER!! IT's A SHAME E
