Im in the process of editing drawings and I have run into an issue with the column lines. I want the bubbles and the start of the grid lines to appear above and below the plan but not to run through it. In AutoCAD i would simply make another viewpoint that showed just the column lines. Unfortunately, when I attempted this in Revit, the effect was not the same. I have attached an example of what i want the Column grid to look like. Any and all help on this topic would be greatly appreciated.

I had the same issue. What you need to do is select the Grid and Toggle the 3d/2d Extents. When it is set to 2d it will allow you to drag the grids separetly for that view. I am posting an image showing what I am referring to. HTH
