hi...what would cause a component not to have a Left or Right veiw to place on a legend?

Having the same issue putting together a legned and have no option for the right or left views of a component. Any ideas out there in Revit land?

You can do real views for your legend rather than legend components. Or you could export to CAD and bring back into Revit as 2D linework.
