Hi AllI am currently using Revit Architecture 2008 and am unable to load Annotations into my projects. When clicking on Symbols in the design bar, this prompt appears. "No generic annotations family is loaded in the project. Would you like to load one now?" Then I click "yes", open the Annotations folder, select a symbol, then the following pops up:"The family is not of the correct category".Am I doing something wrong? Thanks

Try finding the annotation that you load under the project browers and click and drag it into place on your plan. After that, you should definatly see it either under Symbols. If that doesn't still, I dont think it is loading as a Symbol, you might check other categoires i.e. Detail Componants HTH
