I created a new section tail to match our company standard. I did this by opening an existing one and modifying it. Then saved it as a new name. Once I have done that, how do I get it to work? I loaded it into the project, but cannot change the section tail to this new one. It shows up in the families browser area, but not in the properties menu where you can change the tail type. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Go to SETTINGS > VIEW TAGS > SECTION TAGS. In there you should be able to change the type. I tested this by going to properties > EDIT/NEW and the custom tail didn't show up, but when I went to the above location it showed up. HTH

Thanks, I found that and got it to work. However, the way the tail connects to the line is messed up. Our company standard for the tail is to have a line with a filled arrow that points the direction of the cut. I have created this, but when it attaches, it is vertical instead of running through the section line. Any ideas on that?
