Last week, my workmate was working on a file when he tried to saved to central and he got this message: "this local project file has been saved by user "xxx", current user is "aaa". Please change your user name or stop working on this file. Finally we had to save it under a different name and copy from that file to the original. The problems is that this is not the first time this occurs, and the user "xxx" hasn't work on "aaa" computer station. do you know why this happened?

Somebody opened your central file .... picked/did something .... then closed it. I highly recommend that you set up rules for your office that does not allow this. If you want to just look at / copy from (... whatever) a project central file, then you MUST OPEN WITH DETACH FROM CENTRAL option checked!
