The last Cad manager saved some families in the wrong folder and today we are trying to move thoe folders to the right location. I am afraid that this could break the link on the families imported into the project. Is there a way to re-link those files to the new location, in case I need to edit the family?

You shouldn't have any trouble with the moved files. Revit doesn't link the family location to the project. Once loaded the family instance resides in the project, therefore when you edit families from the project level you can simply save over the existing families in their new location.
