Hi All I'm having some confusion with trying to modify the building pad and toposurface for an elevator pit. I first created a building pad for my project, then tried to edit the pad to 'cut out' for the elevator pit, but something isn't working or I am missing a step in the settings. Any help or advice would be welcomed Thanks BS

When i make an elevator shaft or a stair well i use an "opening" Go to the design bar and choose Modeling --> Opening ---> Shaft Opening This should cut through anything: slabs, roofs, and topos. You can adjust the top and base to go as far as you want and not have to worry about modifying everything that you want it to cut through. LMK if this helps.
