Hi Everyone - I've been using Revit for 3 years and have NEVER had this problem - I left 3 renderings to run overnight on 3 computers. (3 separate files.) All of the renderings finished with no problems. One file/rendering, however, just will not allow me to capture the rendering or export the image. It "acts" like I am - the buttons seem to work; the export button takes you to the right dialouge box and allows me to specific a name and directory for the image, but then POOF - nothing happens. I don't want to have to rerender this thing (and frankly don't have time to do that!) - I've done a screen capture as a last resort but the quality is obviously not as great. Any thoughts? The help menu is no help at all, and noone else in the office has ever had this problem either. Thanks in advance for your help!! -Jen

curse, something may have gone goofy over night. I don't see anything that can help that you haven't already tried (Screen Capture). Let us know if you get it sorted out.

I've just had this issue too- Revit will let me specify a name etc, but won't create the image file. I have rendered this view before at a lesser quality, so I'm not sure if it is the size of the rendering that it doesn't like? When I try to capture the image to the file, it comes up with an error saying 'cannot find file ....rendering.001'. I will attempt to render again at a lesser quality and see what happens...

I'm having the same problem with Revit Architecture 2008. I've tried 2 different computers with different file names and I get the exact same thing happening. I've tried to save to my J drive, the desktop and to my flash drive and nothing! How do do a screen capture?

After rendering, you need to export the image. I do not believe you can go to another machine and export from there. If you did capture the image, you should be able to find the image in your browser and export the image to a tiff file.

Export problems seem to be a file size issue. Another post suggests printing the rendering to pdf. (http://www.revitcity.com/forums.php?action=viewthread&thread_id=11975) Maybe there will be a fix in the next version...
