Hello, I am fairly new to Revit and would like to know if there is a solution to the problem that I have with wall cleanups? I have the problem below where i have a short reurn in the build up. The walls do not return correctly and close off the ends, what can I do?

It may be becaus ethe centerlines of your walls do not match placement or you are using walls of different thickness or types(one is generic and the other is not) . use align command to align the edges or centerlines of walls . if you are concerned about joins at ends use 'edit wall join' on the toolbar to fix up the joins.

The image attached here is too small to put your problem right. If you still have problems, please attach a larger image or just a portion of your revit drawing in new project.

 Regards,

Pragati

Hi thanks for the prompt reply, all the walls are the same thickness and style with thesame finish face position, I have included a larger pdf file hopefully you will be able to see my problem better.

Make sure that you have your wall layer wrapping set to what you want it to be.  n the properties of the wall type you can specify the wrapping condition at both inserts in the wall and ends of the wall.  You can also try different join conditions using the wall join tool.  Sometimes you may also need to not have walls join togethr automatically and then highlight the wall, and right click on the blue grip at the wall end and select 'disallow join'.
In the end keep in mind the Revit mantra 'model it like you build it' and things generally work out.

The problem is that it looks like you did not trim the two wing walls to the wall that hosts your door.  That is why your brick comes to the end of the wall.  Use your trim tool and the problem will be corrected.
